For the past few weeks Last Mistake has been busy recording tracks for release on their next album with a renewed line up of music hits! The two new additions to the band, Paolo Conte (drummer) and Silvio Assaiante (bass guitar player), have brought with them new talent, energy and sounds that will soon formalize into success and recognition for the band and their followers. A special thanks goes to all of Last Mistake's loyal fans who continue to support us with great enthusiasm and anticipation of our future success.

I Last Mistake sono impegnati da alcune settimane a registrare i brani del prossimo album con la line up appena rinnovata. I due nuovi ingressi, Paolo Conte alla batteria e Silvio Assaiante al basso, hanno portato nuovi stimoli e sensazioni, che si concretizzeranno presto in nuovi successi e riconoscimenti. Un ringraziamento speciale a tutti i supporter che continuano a seguirci con affetto ed entusiasmo!

Last Mistake is pleased to officially announce its newest addition into the band, leading drummer Daniele Chiantese. The revived band ‘Last Mistake’ will continue developing in studio projects and producing live performances with great enthusiasm, eager to offer new emotions and sensations to its loyal fans.

'Last Mistake' would also like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Davide Masella for his 10-year affiliation as the bands’ leading drummer. His dedication and commitment were inspirational to the band’s early venture and enduring legacy over the last decade. For the time he spent making music with the 'Last Mistake' project, we wish Davide a future filled with continued success and happiness.

I Last Mistake annunciano ufficialmente l'ingresso del drummer Daniele Chiantese nella line-up. La nuova formazione affronterà i prossimi progetti in studio e live con tanti stimoli e grande entusiasmo, certa di regalare nuove emozioni e sensazioni.

I Last Mistake inoltre ringraziano Davide Masella per la collaborazione durata oltre 10 anni, il tempo dedicato al progetto e l'impegno profuso con serietà e professionalità, augurandogli un futuro ricco di soddisfazioni e felicità.

Living Again / new album Review

Progrock vom Feinsten. Wer dieses Genre mag, und ich mag es, dem sei dieses Album an sein Herz gelegt. Wunderschöne Gitarrenarbeit. Eine Stimme, die im Ohr hängen bleibt. Jeder Song in sich ist vom Anfang bis zum Ende spannend und hörenswert. Jeder Ton hat seinen Sinn und bei genauem Hören fallen einem immer neue und exakt getimte Zusätze auf. „Escape“, der Opener, ein Song voller Abwechslung und Spannung. Für mich Anspieltipp Nummer eins ist „ Time To Shine“, die Nummer fünf auf diesem durchweg schönen Teil. Durchaus empfehlenswert beim Reinhören auch „Lady Time“. Jeder Song hat etwas Eigenes, Filigranes. Alles ist so leicht und spielerisch in den Raum gezaubert. Die Sounds unglaublich dicht und verwoben, wie ein Teppich der absoluten Spitzenklasse. Die absolute Verspieltheit und die Liebe zu den ganz, ganz kleinen Details ist jede Sekunde spürbar. Hier sind absolute Meister am Werk. Man meint ständig der Unendlichkeit ins Auge zu sehen. Zu Schweben, ist ständig auf der Startbahn. Es macht grossen Spass dieses Album immer wieder zu Hören. Elf Songs der Meister Klasse ein Tipp.

Prog Rock dei migliori. Chi ama questo genere, ed a me piace, è a loro che è dedicato quest’album. Uno spettacolare intreccio di chitarre. Una voce che resta impressa. Ogni singola canzone è emozionante e merita di essere ascoltata dall’inizio alla fine. Ogni nota ha il suo valore e con un ascolto attento si distingue ogni nuovo incremento. “Escape”, il pezzo di apertura, un pezzo pieno di variazione ed eccitazione. Il mio indiscusso numero uno è “Time to Shine”, il brano 5 di questa splendida parte. Assolutamente da raccomandare anche “Lady Time” per un ascolto puro. Ogni canzone ha qualcosa di proprio, di filigrana. Tutto è così leggero e scherzoso tirato fuori come per magia. I suoni incredibilmente densi che si intrecciano in un tappeto sonoro di assoluta classe. La giocosità e l’amore verso i più piccoli dettagli è imponente secondo dopo secondo. In questo sono dei veri maestri. È come guardare continuamente negli occhi dell’immensità. È davvero molto piacevole ascoltare ogni volta quest’album. Undici brani della classe dei maestri, un consiglio.

E' bello avere nuove notizie dei Last Mistake come bello è il ricordo che abbiamo del precedente album di qualche anno fa. Prodotto dalla In Studio Records e promosso dalla Alkemist Fanatix questo nuovo "Living Again" porta la band di Formia ad un livello superiore sia qualitativo che compositivo. Rispetto al passato i Last Mistake hanno deciso di porre maggiormente l'accento sull'aspetto più progressive del loro songwriting dando vita ad una elegante miscela di rock melodico ed ammalianti suoni elettronici. Dopo aver dedicato ripetuti ascolti all'opener "Escape", alla title-track ed alla dolcissima "Time to Shine" si fa sempre più evidente l'impressione che i synth e le tastiere di Alex, la cristallina chitarra di Kosmo e la calda ed avvolgente voce dell'altro Alex (Forlani) dipendano fortemente una dall'altra e che sia l'unione delle stesse a determinare un sound così vivo e piacevole. "Push" è una potenziale hit teletrasportata fin da noi direttamente dagli anni ottanta mentre "The Silent Room" (rifatta per l'occasione) rimarrà per sempre una ballad da brivido. Difetti ? Pochi. Speranze ? Dipende da voi, quindi non perdeteveli !!
