LAST MISTAKE website

The group was born in 1998 in Formia (Italy), after a few changes in the line up. The group is now formed by Alex Forlani (voice) Alex Brengola (keyboard), Kosmo Masiello (guitar), Adriano Masella (bass) and Davide Masella (drums). The song-writing process includes, Alex Forlani, Alex Brengola, and Kosmo Masiello.

The band’s goal is to bring back melodies from old rock bands such as: Queen, Rainbow, Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Journey.....and blend them with the electronic and modern sounds…three simple words: SPECIAL HEAVY ROCK!

During the past 10 yrs Last Mistake has performed all over the Italian peninsula, especially in the Rome circuit and nearby Switzerland, having great success with the public and critics.

Last Mistake was the opening show for the highly acclaimed band SADUS (the band by Steve Di Giorgio, ex TESTAMENT, DEATH, etc), documented by the magazine Rock Hard Italia (May 2004), and also EXTREMA in the spring of 2004 and DAEMONIA (the band of Claudio Simonetti) at Formia Rock Festival 2006. They also played at S-Hammer Metal Fest 2005.

In June 2003 the band came out with their first demo cd “Fuoco” (3 tks-10 mins) which was well reviewed by rock/metal magazines as well as the most well-known web magazines such as Metal Shock #397.

In January 2004, Last Mistake came out with a second demo cd “fuoco vs terra” (10 tks-32 mins) that represents a more elaborate work. “fuoco vs terra” was very well accepted with lots of enthusiasm from the public and critics whom really liked the originality of the music and the knowledge of the song-writing of the band.

In November 2004, Last Mistake improved the recording of the “fuoco vs terra” cd and they included their first single ”White and Black” proposing a new graphic of the product. The new “fuoco vs terra” cd (11 tks-37 mins), completely self-produced, was finally released in March 2005.

From May 29th thru June 2nd 2005 Last Mistake participated in the second edition of Music Village (Simeri-Cz, Italy) and was selected from the most important projects at an national level.

The first work with a recording company of the Last Mistake, Homonym, was released in March 2007, produced by the roman label Powerzone Records, currently available to order on the band’s web page.

Last Mistake (11 tks-41 mins) was recorded at Experience studio of Formia, Italy, and mastered by Giuseppe Ranieri, Claudio Simonetti (ex Goblin) and the band itself at Acquario Studio in Rome, Italy.

From January 2008 the band cooperates with ALKEMIST FANATIX EUROPE.

Spring 2009 the new album LIVING AGAIN was released and it is distributed by Andromeda in Italy, and by Code 7 via plastic head all over the world. The cd contains 11 songs and it was recorded between the month of October and November 2008 at “In Studio” of Formia, Italy.
